Iv’e been experimenting with putting my designs on various products and I’m surprised to find that the simple sketches work quite well for this.

In case you don’t know there is a tall monument to the great fire in London simply called the ‘Monument ‘and the nearby Tube station bears the same name. The original sketch was only about A5 size but it transferred to a larger scale well. I used two on-line platforms to do these – ‘Placeit’ and ‘Canva’
  • In Canva I was able to remove the background of my sketch which allowed the image to appear drawn or printed directly on to the tee shirt or mug . Placeit gives you mockups as in this pub sign to place your image on .
I’m gradually getting the hang of these platforms but its very time consuming and a bit addictive
